Relationship question.

Patteman was alowed to ask questions about girls so I guess I'm alowed too :D

Well here is the problem and the question:

Okey my gf is going to Spain to study for a whole year...
Which means our relationship will kind of end there...
We both think it's the best way, coz it would be too hard...
But we are both thinking about carrying on where we left off...

So have anyone of you had this kind of problem and actually been able to carry on where you left it?

I have to leave you people soon :(
I HAVE to go to the army after 17 days...
And I will have to stay there for 6 months to 1 year...
I will come out ever second weekend tho...but that's about it...

long distance relationships are hard yeh but dont quit if u love each other, theres not a point in the world to split if u love each other, or dont u love her anymore? if u dont well thats your decsion, :(

as for the army, what are you going to be? ?

Ugh - military service sucks. - Get out of it as soon as you can...
As for your g-friend I got the same deal once and she moved to another town, not another country... It didn't work out...we tried for a while tho....It depends but my guess is by the time she comes back one of you will have found somebody else...so.... Yeah goodbyes suck too. :(

Mikedude - That was our first thuoght too...
But really...if she is there...I do trust her and she trusts me...but
I would still be wondering everyday what she is doing and it would kill me...coz I know that my imagination would go wild...

Mihai - yeah...well that's what I'm really scared of...that she would have found a new one when I'm standing there on the airport with my flowers in my hand and there she comes out with some other guy...
Or the other way around...
So there aren't really a good way out of this...and I don't really know what to do...

The army...Well I'm not sure what kind of company I will have to go to...you won't know that until you've been in awhile...
Yeah it will suck...and ALOT but I think I will survive...
Every guy have to do it and they have all survived...
okey I would have SO many better things to now in my life...
But when there ain't a choise there ain't...
But hopefully it will just be 6 months...

Now that I thought it couldn't get any worse...
I talked to my gf and was like, well we can still see eachother on Cristmas and some other hollydays...
But nope...
She is going to be an exchange student that have some rules that you aren't alowed to come home...
If you come home will quit the whole program and you're out...
Who came up with these rules?
And even hard for me to be able to go there and meet here coz I have to talk to a bunch off people to get their permission to see her...
