too cloudy here last night.

there was a great solar eclipse like 10 years ago. it was awesome!

Solar eclipses won't destroy whatever that CCD is, unless it's part of your eye. :rolleyes:

CCD is the sensor inside the camera that takes the photograph. And your right about it! I looked it up. It just says if anything...you'll end up with a washed out photo if left too long. I was a bit confused cause the sensors wear out from too much light (the reason for lens caps on digital cameras) but all is cool. Too bad we wont have one for a while...... :-(

Yeah Charm, I remember. I was in 8th grade I believe. We were supposed to look at a pinhole on a piece of paper, but I looked right at it.

It's only a bit of UV rays, it's like looking directly at a piece of burning magnesium ribbon. :rolleyes:
