It's a snap to set up since it comes with a full installation program. Just click it and it installs it for you and even configures your Mysql tables for you You need php and Mysql to run it. The only thing you have to do is customize the templates if you choose to do so. So far it seems to be running very smooth and I love the features. And this is only Beta3 of the new version 2.0 So once it is full blown there will be even more features ;)

And I don't have any links page set up on the team site but you know you can automatically add your link at the pankpages site

I'd say so, definitely. I will admit the change will take a while to get used to but so far it has been great You use the board, what's your opinion...
