I've been using it for a few days now. No crashes, nothing funky at all. Except I had to redo some parts of my site to comply. Nothing horrible. |

It has been my experience that although Netscape doesn't support some bells and whistles (like a few CSS things) it is generally faster and more efficient than IE. IE does this weird stalling thing sometimes... a problem I have never had with Netscape. Sometimes Netscape crashes for no reason so I get fed up and open up IE... but then IE takes forever and stalls page loads so I get fed up and reopen Netscape. It's a vicious cycle!!! When it comes down to it though, Netscape may be plainer, but it's faster and I like it best. ![]() |

"most" of the time I use the hotbot(neoplanet) browser that is really only IE with a facelift. and intergrated mail client (outlook) But hey, I've been know to launch Opera and surf around on it. *BTW, Pank, Opera HATES your news scroller *not that thats a big deal....nobody uses it.. Lol! but you gotta admit "its a fast browser!" But when it comes right down to it...heck I like NS the best too

I've had it running on my system for about 2 weeks now, and no longer do I get the: "explorer.exe has caused and invalid page fault error in yadda-yadda gui.exe" IE 5.5 caused this system to crash more often than those drunk bastards leaving the bar. But anyways, about that picture thing: You can change it under: Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced-->Multimedia-->and Uncheck "Show Image Toolbar" But what I don't like is that when I click a link to download a movie or song, there is a "Personal Bar" that pops up on the left side. I'm sure there's a way to shut it off, but I can't find it. But if anyone has ever tried MSN Explorer, you'll agree with me when I say that IE 6.0 is a helluvalot better than that big ole' pile 'o' shit. OK, I'll quit rambling....this is gettin' kinda long now. |
