on a similar note, anyone see the new ps2 commercial where it mentions playing something online? then has a new ps online logo at the end, i forget what it was for exactly...

You can play online with the PS2 now. Yes. You can also play XBox and Gamecube online. I really hope the PC can catch up to the consoles in this respect soon, or we may soon see the end of PC gaming.

Ermm it may be a news flash for you Deker but a lot of PC users have been playing, what we call "online" for a while now ;)

personally i don't play games on the pc much, 90% of my gaming is done on the ps2. there are a few cool things i'll play on here occasionally (lucasarts adventure games, thief, etc.) but what's captured my attention most recently are a couple platformers (sly cooper, jak and daxter).

Fig, if you like those platformers, try Ratchet and Clank if you haven't. It's really well done. I didn't get "Stuck" once, which i really appreciate. That's what I hate about games more than anything is getting stuck on one stupid little part and not being able to get past it. And usually it's something stupid that the designers overlooked. Ratchet and Clank is really intuitive. It's short though. So rent it. I beat it in one weekend.

Counter-strike, Battlefied 1942, Medal of Honor, UT2k3, etc. I don't see the PC multiplayer market dying anytime soon.
