portfolios?

OK i got a questio in in grade 12 this year. Currently talking a grade 10 computer graphics course.,then next semister im talking 11, 12 computer graphics so i can graduate. And someone told me that if i take the grade 11, 12 course it is called "SPECIAL PROJECTS COURSE" Becase its 2 levels in 5 months of work Again that if i took that course i could build my self a portfolio?

Portfolio is what i don't know about no one ever told me that before lol? What exactly would you put in a portfolio work that you have done?


Portfolio is for like say a company wanted me to make them something then i would show them my work ive done and they decide whether my work is good enough for them to give me there project is what im guesssing?

Crap that is very confussing what i just said sorry about that guys lol.

thats basically what a portfolio is. A binder or folder (portfolio) with all your best work. could be photography, design work, art whatever. but its better to put stuff in that applies to what you are applying for. And you are only as good as your worst piece so be critical of what you are putting in your portfolio.

Photography.hmm i got some good shots of Digital Photgraphy on my hard drive. My best picture ever tooken was a shot of "Rule Of Thirds".
But i guess i wont worry about that stuff yet. I think ill talk to my teacher about this stuff.



If your wondering why im in grade 10 computer class. Well computers didnt really interest me that much in grade 10, 11. Now i have no clue i must of saw something somewhere that got me going. lol i honestly don't know what happened.

Another great additon to your porfolio is infomration about the project (ex:time it take Wath wath the goal of the project and project chalenges) Add revelent information about the projects.

Also phots can be a good thing, if they where shot for a reason.

Also youe should put the best ptoject first, and the last one should be the one you enjoy ther most...

Also the prensentation of your porfolio will have an effect... a cheap folder will look less profesional than a leather binder. Print your project on phot paper for maximum effect... but if you do all these make sure you get it back!
