1. are there any other print shops/copy centers you can go to?

2. keep them in .psd format. (include layers in case your colors suck on their machines.

3. burn to CD, include all fonts.

4. will you be printing the artwork? If so, know exactly what papers, printers and computers you want to use first, since they charge you by the hour on their machines.

5. bring lots of money.

good luck! :D:D

My experience with Kinkos getting proofs for someone: It is expensive to use their computers, and it was cheaper to use them (not do it yourself). Kinkos has a horrible record for upgrading their computers. Not sure about their macs, but when I was sending stuff for quick proof's on their laser machines, they were still using windows 95, illustrator 8, and Acrobat 4, so I couldnt print anything that had any kind of transparency on it. I found it is that way at a few of the Kinkos I have visited. I had better luck using a smaller print house - Minuteman Press (not sure if they have those there) They didnt charge me to open the files and printed them at $1 each regular size paper.

Versus the $16 or $17 I ended up spending on using the Kinkos computers for 6 printouts. Also the other print place had current software =)
