Hacked the vBforum.

Would knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Photoshop suffice to edit the vBForum skin? Much to the extent of the TPS skin.

Yup, that's all you need to know.You will need to know or learn your way around the vb template system but it's basically all html template changes...

Yup, and the skill to find where's the part you wanna hack. That is the time-consuming part....

Wuu, I think I'll go sign up a dummy forum and hack it for fun, might be more creative than playing CS for 7 hours. :p thanks guys.

Edit: whoops, seems like they charge money... i guess it'll be a while until i do that.

I first thought they charged to much for a own license...But then again. They work really hard to make everything satisfying for the customer, so i guess it aint that expensive after all. I might get myself a board eventually, but that'll be when I know how mYSQL and php works......

If you wanna get a license, wait till VB3 comes out. VB is worth every dollar IMO.

eh. I just use phpbb. the templates are rather similar in some ways. Of course, it all depends on what you want. Personally, the site I am working on now gets plenty of traffic but there are only a handful of folks who post on the forums
